If the clutter on my desk is any indication, it is a busy day here at the Daily Globe. Not that work doesn’t keep me busy, but with special sections coming out left and right, my to-do list has really accumulated.
I hope you all had a chance to read the stories in the Today’s Farm edition published with today’s paper. I’m always looking for ideas for this quarterly special section, so feel free to e-mail me your suggestions.
I have fellow reporters working on stories for the Active Life edition, which comes out in early February, and I’m busy working with the region’s FFA advisers to gather photos and story ideas for that special section that publishes on Feb. 14.
Uff da – I better start writing!
By the way, look for a preview story in Thursday’s edition on the Okoboji Winter Games. I will be down there on Saturday to cover the festivities. I’ve never attended the winter games, and I’m especially looking forward to watching the Polar Bear Plunge!
BK (Globe photo guy Brian Korthals) and I will be covering the Polar Bear Plunge, so you can look forward to some of his awesome photos in Monday’s print edition and online of course at www.dglobe.com/
